Implementation Consultant Retail, EAME (f/m)
Duties and responsibilities:
An "Implementation Consultant Retail" will typically work in a combined project team of people from MICROS-Retail and its’ clients, at clients premises, to implement the assigned software solution. With implementation is intended, analysing customer needs, documenting development requirements, configuring the software, testing software, producing user documentation and training the end user on the application.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or University degree
- Experience in IT
- Experience in Retail processes
- More than 3 years of working experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and MS Office applications
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Knowledge of XML
- A solid experience in retail IT and retail operations that includes knowledge and expertise in the areas of merchandising, distribution, inventory control, store operations, point of sale, loss prevention and payroll/time keeping
- Experience in specialty retail operations, technology assessment and Point-of-Sale software
- Experience in analysing processes, data and situations in order to make professional recommendations
- Ability to communicate, build and maintain relationships on all levels, including the executive level
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Sound knowledge of the English language (written and spoken) is a must
- Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally for a significant part of the working time
- Valid passport and driving license
